Oscar is a smaller sized (weighing in at 17KGs), pibble mix who has known far more hardship than any soul ever should. His past is one of neglect, loneliness, and survival but somehow, heartbreakingly, it never stole his ability to love.

When Oscar was found, he was a wreck. Filthy. Covered in pressure wounds, open sores, cuts, and nursing a painful limp. His body told the story of being left without comfort, without care… and yet, despite it all, Oscar was desperate for human connection. Subdued when alone, but gentle, trusting, and full of quiet hope when people were near. He looked at us with love in his eyes, as if he still believed someone would finally be kind.
Oscar’s first days of safety were big ones, his first proper bath, the chance to stretch his legs outside, and a long overdue vet check. Sadly, that visit confirmed what his body already showed: pressure wounds from insufficient bedding, severely damaged teeth likely from chewing stones due to hunger, and joint damage with arthritis.

This boy has never known the comfort of a safe home.
And yet… Oscar’s spirit remains unbroken.
He’s now enjoying short walks and little adventures, and even though his leg can be sensitive, he can’t help but light up when it’s “time for walkies” His excitement is pure and contagious a reminder that joy doesn’t require much when you’ve survived what Oscar has.
Oscar would thrive as the only dog in a calm home where he can finally be someone’s top priority. He doesn’t ask for much just love, time, warmth, and a soft place to rest his tired body. In return, he offers unwavering affection, gratitude, and a heart that still believes in people.
Let him spend the rest of his days knowing what it feels like to be safe, cherished, and home.

Oscar is ready. Are you?
