Meet Dakota, this brave soul was brought to the AWSS by concerned animal lovers. After talking to the neighbors at the farm where she was found, it is understood that her owners had moved and abandoned her, leaving her to fend for herself, alone and hungry.
Despite her emaciated frame and weary eyes, Dakota’s resilience shines through, telling a powerful story and we are committed to making sure it has a happy ending.
This 8year old medium sized girl has since picked up some weight and is still gaining. Now ready and waiting for her very own forever home, where she will get the love and care she deserves. Come and meet this cuddle bug and fall in love.
