I’m SASHA and my poet is a bit frustrated.
She wrote a poem so beautiful, she was proud and motivated.
It shone through the words she wrote,
But then she deleted the poem when she was copying a quote.
Then she had to start all over again.
She was not amused and the computer was not her friend.
But she put her mind on the task
and voila! A poem at last!
I have grown into a magnificent lady
who doesn’t fight but lies and daydreams when it’s shady.
I’m calm and I feed off of your energy,
which means that sometimes I get a bit crazy.
I love my belly rubs so I’ll plop to the floor
When I suspect a hand’s reaching towards my core.
I smile and I play and I respect all around me.
I just want to go to a home where, with love, you can drown me.
I need some space every once in a while,
but I’ve received enough space, now I want a friendly smile
to adopt me and take me with them
to a home I can call my own gem.
