Like in Suite Life on Deck.
At the moment I don’t have a brother
but when the next pup comes in, we’ll call him Zach.
Walt Disney would have wanted to write a story about me
Because with my big, beautiful eyes I easily beat Lady and the Tramp.
I’d be the superhero dog who is just a teeny bit needy –
An adorable boy, a charmer, a scamp.
I’m oh, so, little, and I cuddle so well.
Like I said I’m needy and need to sit on your lap a lot.
But I love my treats so I’m easy to teach.
And please tell me you love me often, you know, in case I forgot…
I like to crawl into jackets
I love to bark and make puppy eyes.
I’m good at following the leader
And I never tell lies…
(because, you know… I can’t really talk and all…
it’s part of the “being-a-dog” protocol.
That’s kind of a perk of having a dog –
having an ear to listen to your problem talk).
